Patty Louise (Adams) Crowder, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Midwest City, OK at the age of 85. She was born October 24, 1936 in Cox City, OK to Lenard and Iva (Smith) Adams.

Patty Crowder was a woman of many talents and interests that lived a beautiful and fulfilling life. Known for her exceptional sewing abilities, her daughters - Donna and Kay - were always well dressed in cute outfits that Patty handmade.

Patty made every occasion extra special with beautifully decorated cakes and other delicious goodies. It wasn't unusual to find Patty in the kitchen, listening to her favorite country or gospel music, as she prepared meals for her family and friends. If you left Patty's house hungry, that was your own fault.

Patty had an excellent voice, loved the Lord, and shared her God-given talent with several churches singing gospel hymns. As a teenager, you could hear her voice over the radio - which is something that she was very proud of.

Patty enjoyed working out in the garden and eagerly anticipated the arrival of spring so that she could enjoy the bluebonnets. She always enjoyed the beauty around her, but enjoying the beauty of the birds was one of her favorite things.

If you knew Patty, you knew she always had a sense of humor. She enjoyed laughing and making others around her laugh as well. She also had the gift of being able to laugh at herself and she never took anything too seriously.

She was no stranger to technology. She adapted quickly and loved keeping in touch with family and friends on Facebook. And it didn't take Patty long to figure out Amazon. The nurses and staff at her assisted living facility were amazed at her ability to navigate technology at her age.

Patty lived a full and happy life leaving her mark on this world with her many talents, but the one thing that she loved most was her family. She was so proud of her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren.

Patty was blessed with a wonderful marriage to Ralph Crowder. They met later in life and shared 12 amazing years together in Burkburnett, TX. Patty truly found happiness when she found Ralph.

Through the good times and the bad, Patty relied on her strong faith in the Lord for grace and endurance. And she found comfort in God's promise and is now enjoying an eternity without pain and sorrow. She is finally reunited with loved ones that have gone before her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Crowder; daughter, Kay Tannahill; siblings, Doyle Adams, Joyce Albright, Leroy Adams, and infant brother Junior Adams.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Donna Marricle; son, Larry Tannahill; grandchildren, Lezlie Swink and husband Adam, Nikki Davis and husband Justin, Brady Tannahill and wife Meredith, Coby Tannahill and wife Paige; great-grandchildren, Ryley, Kaylin, and Garrett Swink, Isabelle, Brooks, and Cade Davis, Ryleigh and Jessley Tannahill; sister, Sue Adams and many nieces and nephews.
