William "Bill" George Hendon, Sr.

William "Bill" George Hendon, Sr. was born September 28, 1939 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Walter and Mildred (Hickman) Hendon. He passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at his home of Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 76.

He has lived in the Chickasha area his entire life. Bill was an avid stock car racer. He worked for Johnson's Wrecker for 10 years. He later owned and operated Hendon Construction and then started working for Grady County District 2 where he retired after 15 years.

Bill sang in his band Double Trouble Band. They were together for 50 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stanley Hendon.

Bill is survived by his 3 children: Rocky Hendon and Sheena; Deedra Nees and Jerry;
and Bill Hendon, Jr and Chris;

Survived by Nadine, they were married for 30 years.

Grandchildren: Trudy, Sherry, Jerry, Clay, Clint, Tye and Little Rocky;
Great Grandchildren: Dillyon, Danny, Charlie, Kyle, Morgan, Dalton, Tanner, Asia, Layla, Kayla, Adyn and Ally;

a brother, Walter Hendon;
and multiple adopted grandchildren.
