William Burt

William Burt passed from this life on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Shannon Springs Nursing home in Chickasha, Oklahoma. William was born January 13, 1928 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to W.M. and Gertrude (Long) Burt.

He married Georgia Ann Wheeler on August 23, 1951 in Chickasha. He lived in Chickasha his entire life and was a Charter Member and was very active at Grace Baptist Church. He worked for the city of Chickasha for over 30 years and retired several years ago.

Mr. Burt was preceded in death by his parents, W.M. and Georgia Burt, and two brothers; Curtis and Luther Burt.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia; one son; Kenneth Burt and wife Bobbie, and two daughters; Brenda Robinson and husband Kevin and Linda Miller and husband Carl.

Three grandsons:  Aaron Miller, Nicholas Burt, and Roy Lynn Smith.

Great granddaughters: Kaylee and Shana Miller
