Voncille Odom Daniel of Pocasset, OK passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home in Pocasset at the age of 91. She was born on September 8, 1929 in Amber, OK to Bee Roscoe and Maggie Loretta (Maloney) Odom.

Voncille graduated High school from Amber in 1947. She married Ralph Daniel on February 26, 1949 at the First Baptist Church in Amber. She was a devoted wife to Ralph for 68 years. They worked together on the farm and raised their four kids. She began work as a telephone operator in 1948.

Her love of gardening was used to bless many people at their table. Voncille and Ralph always had an open door and were willing to help anyone who came through it. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Amber. She taught, sang in the choir, worked with the GA's, and served in many other ways in the church. Sharing and showing the love of Christ to anyone and everyone in her life was one of the most important things to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bee and Maggie Odom; husband Ralph L. Daniel; two brothers and 5 sisters, sister-in-law Wanda Davidson, and son-in-law Keith McCool.

Voncille is survived by a brother James Odom and wife Lauana of Amber, OK; and sister Rose Lee of Elk City, OK;

Children: James Daniel and wife Stephanie of Tyler, TX; Gary Daniel and wife Frankie of Pocasset, OK; Cherris Curtis and husband Tom of El Reno, OK, and DaVeda McCool of Pocasset, OK;

Voncille lived a full and blessed life filled with the love of 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandsons.
