Virgie (Anglin) Cavin was born December 16, 1921 in Tupelo, Oklahoma to James L. and Vernie (Methvin) Anglin. She passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Lexington, Oklahoma at the age of 93. As a small child she moved to the Ninnekah area and as farmers they moved several different times in Grady County, eventually settling in the Middleburg area where she graduated from Middleburg High School. She married Thurman Cavin on January 1, 1943 in Chickasha, OK. She followed him for a year while he was in the service and finally made their home in Chickasha. Mrs. Cavin worked for Hart's Manufacturing for a year while Thurman was in China serving in the U.S. Air Force. She was homemaker until the children were grown then she was a floral designer for Munn's Flowers. She had been trained by Margaret and Irvin Munn and worked for them 15 ½ years until she retired in 1984. Mrs. Cavin was an active member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Alathean Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Cavin on June 30, 2013; a granddaughter, Sheri Cavin; her parents; 6 brothers: Woodrow Anglin, Wilford Anglin, Winford Anglin, Bill Anglin, Kenneth Anglin and Roy Anglin; and 2 sisters: Faye Brooksher and Odessa Franklin. Mrs. Cavin is survived by her 3 sons: Alan Cavin and his wife, Susan Steve Cavin and Tom Cavin and his wife, Brenda 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
