Vera Ward

Vera Fay (Boggess) Ward, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 84.  She was born March 7, 1935 in Mason, OK to Alva and Edith (Sorden) Boggess.

Vera has lived in the Chickasha all her adult life and married Roy Ward on July 1, 1951 in Chickasha.  She was a member of Kenwood Trinity Community Fellowship.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Ward; daughter Peggy Lail; Grandson, Donald Lail; brothers: Jerry Boggess, Buddy Boggess and Sonny Boggess and a sister, Geneva Rowan.

Vera is survived by her sons, Ronald "Chub" Ward and Larry Ward;

and her daughter, Rhonda Ward;

10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren;

Sisters:  Cleta Jones, June Forbes, Alma Smith and Bobbye Jones;

Brother, Jimmy Boggess;

And many nieces and nephews.
