Velmer Roy Taylor, Jr.

Velmer Roy Taylor, Jr. was born August 20, 1931 in Hope, Oklahoma to Velmer Roy Taylor Sr., and Zennia (Morgan) Taylor. He passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home in Amber at the age of 85.

He married Leona Lucille Warner on November 14, 1955 in Fletcher, OK and he was a member of the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter and in the railroad in the Bridge gang.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 2 daughters, Joyce Thompson and Ann Berry and one son Tim Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Leona Taylor of the home;

Daughters: Deborah Taylor of Amber;
Phyllis Jean and husband Craig Reuter of Chickasha, OK;

Amy Bruce of Amber, OK;

Sons: Quinton (Tweety) and wife Shirley Taylor of Blanchard, OK;

Grandchildren: Christy Taylor, Steven Thompson, James Luke, Stephanie Taylor

Cory Epperson, Tommy Epperson, Tommy Epperson, Jacob Bruce, Maria Epperson, Zack Bruce, Lexi Bruce, Madi Bruce

Great- Grandchildren: Makayla Musick, Shayla Musick, Emma Taylor, Kenzie Luke and Bentley Luke;
