Vaubrey "Corkey" Clement

December 25, 1929 — September 19, 2017

Vaubrey Elton"Corkey" Clement was born December 25, 1929 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  He

Corkey grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Bridge Creek High School.  He served in the U.S. Navy from February 1947 to March 1949 as an Air Traffic Controller.

He married Joyce Bernice Daniel on August 30, 1948 in Chickasha.  They made their home in Oklahoma City and in 1951 they moved to Casa Grande, Arizona for 17 years.  They moved to Tuttle in 1967 where Corkey owned and operated "Action Automotive" in Tuttle before retiring in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Corkey is survived by his wife, Bernice Clement;

Son, Steve Clement and his wife, Dana;

Daughter, LaJuana King and her husband, David;


Granddaughters:  Heather Huff and Trisha Surman;

Grandson, Joshua Clement ;

and 6 great grandchildren:  MaKenzie and MaKaylin Huff, Kaiden and Jensen Clement, Storie Terry and Chris Surman, II
all of Tuttle, Oklahoma


Sisters:  Virginia Hibbs and Peggy McCullough;

and brother, J.R. Clement.
