Tressie M. Jamal

Tressie Marseen Summers Jamal, 86, of Chickasha, died March 29, 2019. She was born July 5, 1932, in Norge, Oklahoma, to Luther Taber and Alice Rimer Taber.

Tressie was a homemaker for most of her life, and an adored "Memaw" by her family. After her children were nearly grown, she went to work at Grady Memorial Hospital. She worked in housekeeping until she retired.

She was preceded in death by three children: her daughter, Janice Sue Thompson; and sons, Allen Ray and Timothy Lee Summers.

She is survived by a son, P.J. Summers and Shannon, of Stillwater; grandchildren, Bruce Goodellow and wife, Christina, of Duncan; Sue Ann Kelly of Norge; and Tabatha Williams of Stillwater; eight great-grandchildren, Bryant, Jovie and Xander Goodfellow, of Duncan; Heaven Kelly and fiancé James Baker, of Sapulpa; Darian Kelly and fiancé Vince Courtney, of Bethany; Chloe' Henry of Chickasha; Javon Taylor and wife, Nicole, of Stillwater; and Nicholas Williams of Stillwater; and three great great-grandchildren, Willow Ann Gabriel, Orrick Baker; and Brayden Taylor.
