Funeral service for Joe Todd Sevier, 42, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, Chickasha. JOE TODD SEVIER was born in Chickasha on December 27, 1967, the son of Larry and Linda (Knowles) Sevier. He died December 19, 2010 in Chickasha. He attended Chickasha Public Schools and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1986. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in funeral service from UCO in 1991. At that time, he joined the family business as a licensed funeral director and embalmer and was currently serving as president of Sevier Funeral Home. Todd loved the arts. He performed in various plays over the years. He also played the bass guitar and sang karaoke for many years. He was an avid movie fan and loved old songs and movies. Todd was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Delaware Indian tribe. He was preceded in death by: Grandparents: Gaylord and Norma Knowles Grandfather: Jodie Sevier Survivors include: Parents: Larry and Linda Sevier Sister and her husband: April and Jeff Kile and their children, Jeremy, Austin and Brayden Grandmother: Virginia Sevier Many aunts, uncles and cousins including Shane and Luke Harris who were all part of Risistors Band Many friends including Cheryl Camp and Sean Carroll Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Community Church, P.O. Box 451,Chickasha, OK 73023.
