Terry "Red" Mitchell

Terry "Red" Brian Mitchell was born November 8, 1958 in Muleshoe, Texas and passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 with his family in Ninnekah, OK.

Terry grew up in Broxton/Apache area in his youth and later attended Ninnekah High School.  In Ninnekah, Terry met and fell in love with his wife, Cassandra (Cassie) Still.  They married on April Fool's Day 1978 and were married happily and deeply in love ever since.  Terry worked in construction and built custom cabinets all of his adult life to support his family.

Terry loved to fish, play dominos (to which he cheated at), laugh and joke, and he never let the truth get in the way of a good story.  He loved his family, children and grandchildren more than life itself.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Hoyt and Willa Mae (Morgan) Mitchell; brother, Randall Lee Mitchell; nephew, Nicholas Wayne Mitchell; and father-in-law, Jimmy Dean Still.

Terry is survived by his wife, Cassandra Mitchell of the home;

3 children:  Jimmy Mitchell and wife, Jana, of Odessa, TX;

Kristina Mitchell Brown and Richard, of Lawton, OK;

Robert Mitchell of Ninnekah, OK

5 grandchildren: Taylor, Kennedy and Nixon, of Odessa, TX;

Christian and Haustin of Lawton, OK;

Brothers: Jimmy and Dee of Chickasha, OK;

Allan and Kathy of Chickasha, OK;

Scott and Sharon of Chickasha, OK;

Sister, Stacey and David of Oklahoma City, OK;

Mother-in-law, Millie Still of Yukon, OK;

Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family
