Graveside service for Terry Lynn Cook will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the Pavilion at Bradley Cemetery. Interment is under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from Saturday to Monday at Sevier Funeral Home.

Terry Lynn Cook passed from this life on September 18, 2025 at his home in Alex, OK at the age of 77. He was born on March 9, 1948 in Sterling, KS to Georgia (Cruth) Cook.

Terry met Irene Bibb in Lyons, KS on May 21, 1965 after a high school graduation. It was love at first sight. They were married on December 21, 1965. They were married 59 years, 8 months, and 2 weeks. They had three children, Barbie, Lora, and Robert, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-granddaughters.

In 1967, Terry moved his wife and daughter from Kansas to Oklahoma. He got his CDL and went to work as a 7-up salesman driver in Lawton, OK. He later moved his family to Chickasha, OK where he went to work at Dr. Pepper/RC. He started as a salesman. He worked there off and on for many years, working his way up to sales manager. He later left there and went to work at Lakeshore Foods in Oklahoma City, OK. He started as a salesman and became a Sales Manager. When his dream came true in 2001, he finally had enough money saved. He bought his own truck to start his own company. He drove all over the country until he retired in 2013. He then bought cows with our cousin, Roy. After a couple of years, prices went down and they sold out.

For the rest of his life he tried spending time with his family and enjoying his family.

Terry is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Cruth; his in-laws, Maxine and Jess Palmer; his daughter, Lora Cook; and four grandchildren.

Loved ones left to remember Terry are his wife of the home, Irene (Bibb) Cook; his son, Robert Cook and wife Mindi of Alex, OK; his daughter, Barbie Lindsay and husband Mack of Rush Springs, OK; his 8 grandchildren, Tim Lindsay of Lindsay, OK, Josh Lindsay of Duncan, OK, Michael Love of Chickasha, OK, Taylor Cook of Weatherford, OK, Liz Love of Chickasha, OK, Jessie Cook of Weatherford, OK, Erick Cook of Weatherford, OK, and Kolby (Cook) Cornelson of Alex, OK; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Danna Cruth of Sterling, KS; many nieces and nephews; and many, many, many friends.
