Terry Justin Black passed from this life on April 28, 2026 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 39. He was born on April 21, 1987 in Chickasha, OK.

Funeral service for Terry Black will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel in Chickasha, OK. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Come and go viewing will be held on Thursday, April 30, 12pm to 7pm; Friday, May 1, 8am to 5pm; and Saturday, May 2, 9am to 12pm.

Celebrating a Life Well Lived

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Black. He brought joy and warmth to everyone who knew him, always ready with a kind word and a helping hand. His unwavering support, loving nature, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

Throughout his life, Terry displayed remarkable strength and compassion, creating lasting memories and forging strong bonds with those he loved. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, and his spirit will remain with us forever. We cherish the moments we shared and will hold them close in our hearts as we honor his memory.

Terry is survived by his parents, Gail and Alan King, Jodie Black; grandmother, Linda Ruppert; sisters, Heather Huntley and Amber Harris; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Chickasha High School and briefly attended USAO. He worked in lawn and tree care.

As we say good-bye to Terry, we find comfort in the love he shared and the memories he leaves behind.

May his kindness and laughter continue to inspire us all, and may he rest in peace knowing he was truly cherished.
