Sylvia Null

Sylvia Lenora Null was born September 2, 1932 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to Gustin Milas and Kathryn Lou (Gilbreath) Kerr.  She passed away at home in Ninnekah, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the age of 84. She married Melvin Willie Null on July 17, 1948 in Chickasha.

Sylvia is survived by her children: Roger Null, Teddy Null, Kenneth Null, and Kathy Parson; Sister, Ina Faye Deville; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Null on January 29, 1985, her mother Kathryn Kerr and her father Gustin Kerr, a daughter, Melva Jo Bennett; 4 brothers, Milas Kerr, Patrick Kerr, Troyce Kerr, and Walker Kerr; one sister Alice Kerr and 2 grandchildren, Waylon Null and Eric Null.

Sylvia has lived in Grady county all of her life.  She worked at PET inc. for over 36 years where she was a supervisor. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, reading, and going to the casino. She loved telling old stories about her kids and grandkids growing up. Most of all Sylvia took great joy in caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
