Sylvania Frasure passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 97. She was born November 16, 1920 near Tabler, Oklahoma the eighth of ten children to James Thomas and Laura Zona (Hill) Greer.
She started school when she was five and attended school at Chickasha thru Junior High then graduating from Friend High School. She always loved studies.
She loved to travel and she traveled alot. She visited six foreign countries and 39 states in the United States. She studied her bible daily and she read daily.
Sylvania is preceded in death by her 9 brothers and sisters: Mary Sanders, Clara Ogle, Bird Greer, Youell Greer, Thelma Greer, Mildred Bowles, Frances Pettigrew and Delores Morrow and a grandson, Victor Alan McClanahan.
She is survived by her steddaughter Nita (Allison) McClanahan and numerous nieces and nephews.
