Funeral services for Susan Hankins will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in the Holy Name Catholic Church under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Susan Ann Hankins passed away on December 2, 2021 in Chickasha, OK at the age of 75. She was born on August 3, 1946 in Chickasha, OK. to her parents: John & Alma Friedlan.

Susan Ann Hankins a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother leaves behind her husband Bob Hankins and two brothers Ray Friedlan and his wife Pat and Joe Friedlan and his wife Judy and five grandchildren. She attended the St. Josephs academy and in the 1960's she was a member of the Jaycees Janes and served as president for one year. She worked at the Chickasha Daily Express before beginning her career at Grady Memorial Hospital as the secretary to the Administrator, While doing so she attended night school at OCCC to become a Registered Nurse. Upon graduation she began to work in the ICU department and eventually promoting to teach and leading the Diabetic department. Susan

loved to travel she been to places like Paris, Holland, Normandy, and Santa Fe New Mexico. Susan loved helping others her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas.

She lived most of her life in Chickasha, OK. She loved to travel and had been all over the world. She was a big dog lover. She had worked for over twenty years at Grady County Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Bryan & Doug Hankins.

Survivors include: Her Husband Bob Hankins of the home. Grandchildren: Kyle Hankins, Robert & wife Brianna Hankins, Jamie Hankins, Stephanie Hankins, numerous nieces and nephews, Brothers: Roy Friedlan & wife Pat, Joe Friedlan & wife Judy and numerous other relatives and friends.
