Melba Sue Morrissey passed away on April 17, 2017 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 72. She was born May 4, 1944 in Amber, Oklahoma to Marvin D. Hodges and Gerttie E. (Hutchison) Hodges.
Sue was raised in the Amber and Tuttle area and graduated from Tuttle High School. She married Raymond Paul Morrissey on December 24, 1963 in Oklahoma City, OK and they made their home in Tuttle. She worked for Western Electric for 15 years and then worked at Bridge Creek Schools for 17 yrs. She retired and then began working at various part-time jobs to stay busy. She worked at Wal-Mart in Tri-City, Braums, and McDonalds in Mustang.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, and collecting fast food toys. She was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle and was active in various areas in the church such as a Sunday School class and a ladies group. She and her husband took in and helped raise and nurture a total of 16 children during her lifetime.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Dean and Ted Hodges, and a sister, Estella Cloninger.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Morrissey of Tuttle, OK;

Rebecca Kiddie and husband Steve of Mustang, OK;
Jeanette Johnson of Tulsa, OK;
Patricia Rice and husband Chris of Mustang, OK;
Grandchildren: Shane and Ryan Kiddie of Mustang, OK;
Sister: Reba Fleming of Moore, OK;
Brothers: Pat Hodges and wife Nettie of Chickasha, OK
Larry Hodges and wife Anne of Oklahoma City, OK
Numerous other family members and friends.
