Stanley Davis

Stanley Keith Davis passed away in Oklahoma City, OK, on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Stanley was born on January 8, 1958 to Robert Sears Davis, Jr. M.D. and Betty Ann Davis.

Memorial Service for Stanley will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel in Chickasha, OK at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Stanley grew up in Sulphur until the age of 12 when his family moved to Chickasha. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1976. While in High School, he loved being part of the Thespians.  After high school, he attended college at University of Oklahoma and SWOSU in Weatherford.

He enjoyed doing many different jobs throughout his life. He was a roustabout, derrickman, chef, a car salesman, and an entrepreneur. He was a Mud logger in the Oil Field. Stanley was a wonderful Storyteller. He was very generous to everyone. He was an organ donor and was able to help others at the time of his death. Stanley was very loved by his family and will be deeply missed.

Stanley is preceded in death by his father, Robert Sears Davis, Jr. M.D. who passed on May 13, 1989.

Stanley is survived by his mother, Betty Ann Wooley; his brothers and sisters: Cynthia Cavin of Tahlequah, OK, Ken Davis (Karla) of Tulsa, OK, Karen Woo (Van) of Jenks, OK, Sarah Simpson (Shelley) of Lubbock, TX, Charles Davis (Kim) of Ft. Worth, TX, Mary Pinto (Todd), of Edmond, OK; 15 nieces and nephews; and 8 grand nieces and nephews.
