Shirley Fay Daugherty

Shirley Daugherty, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, went to her Mansion reserved in Heaven by her LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the age of 74. She was born on March 29, 1946 in Merced, California to Cecil and Flora Brummell. She graduated from Minco High School in 1964.

She was a very good cook and loved to cook for her family and others, she also was a good seamstress and made clothes for her children and grandchildren. She loved people as she helped to prepare meals for the church family and many funerals.

She worked at Farmers Union Insurance as her first job and after that, with her husband at Tuttle Auto Supply for 26 years. She also worked for her church as finance secretary for 5 years.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Tuttle.

She married her husband Joe Daugherty in 1964, and they had 2 daughters Cindy and Teresa.

Shirley is survived by her husband Joe Daugherty and daughter Cindy Daughterty of Tuttle, OK;

Grandchildren: Alexis Christopher of Oklahoma City, OK; Brady Christopher of Oklahoma City, OK; and Bella Christopher of Tuttle, OK.

Brothers: Alvin Brummell and Dale Brummell.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Christopher, her parents, sister Sharlett Brummell, and brother Ray Brummell.

A private family graveside will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, OK under the direction Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle, OK. Condolences may be made to the family at www.sevierfuneralhome.com.
