Shirle Ruth Trotter

Shirle Ruth Trotter, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79.  She was born February 8, 1939 in Cement, Oklahoma to Deb and Wilma (Bentley) Hargus.

Shirle has lived in the Chickasha area most of her life.  She married Charles Leroy Trotter on December 11, 1954 and they were married for 50 years.  She had worked at American Optical.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Trotter, brothers and sisters: Roland Hargus, Betty Hargus Beller, Ruby Evelyn "Ted" Humphrey and Jerry Hargus; granddaughter, Ashley J. Cook, great grandson, Kaiden R. Trotter and her stepmom, Ann Hargus.

Shirle is survived by her children:  Jimmy Trotter and his wife, Karen;
Danny Ray Trotter,
Terry Heilman-Keck;

7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren;

Sisters:  Rita Shepard and Carol Floyd;

Brothers: Kenneth Hargus, John Hargus and Mark Hargus;

And several nieces and nephews including Cheryl Greene.
