Shawn C. Bean

Shawn Chance Bean, of Tuttle, OK, passed away on Thursday morning, December 6, 2018 in Mustang, Oklahoma at the age of 47.  He was born February 9, 1971 in Jacksonville, Florida to Charles Bean and Fortune (Silver) Taylor.

Shawn graduated from Chickasha High School in May of 1989. He began working in the medical field as a nurse's aide in 1992 and graduated from LPN school in 1993. Shawn spent most of his career at St. Anthony's Hospital where he continued to advance his studies; graduating RN School in 2007, achieving his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013, and graduating from Oklahoma City University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in May of 2018.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Fortune Taylor in 2015.

He is survived by his sister, Adrianne Pursley; a niece, Chelsea Pursley and a nephew, Tyler Pursley. Longtime friends; John Martiny of Kansas City, KS, Amy Moore-Rizzo of Mustang, Ok, Jessica Guillory of Oklahoma City, and many friends at St. Anthony's Hospital.
