Samuel "S.E." Edward Denney

Samuel Edward "S.E." was born October 23, 1922 in Pocasset, Oklahoma to William Henry and Anna Belle (Davidson) Denney.  He passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 93.

He attended Harold School and graduated from Pocasset High School.  He married Frankie June Wolfe on September 25, 1941 in Pocasset.  They farmed around the Pocasset and Minco area.

S.E. attended the First Baptist Church in Pocasset.

He is preceded in death by wife, Frankie in 2012; his parents, 3 brothers and their wives:

Paul and Doris Denney; Burnis and Rowena Denney; and Owen and Betty Jean Denney; and a sister and her husband, Francis and Dale Utsler.

S.E. is survived by 2 daughters:  Linda June Griffith and husband, Dean, of Amber, OK; and

Marilyn Ann Clift of Pocasset, OK;

1 son, Edward Henry Denney of Pocasset, OK;

4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
