Roy Emmett Powell passed from this life on Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 82. He was born on June 22, 1943 in Cement, OK to Carl E. Powell and Gracie (Campbell) Powell.

Funeral service for Roy Emmett Powell was held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Ft. Sill Cemetery in Elgin, OK. Roy Powell received military honors for his service in the Air Force. Arrangements were made at Sevier Funeral Home.

Roy lived in Cement, OK most of his life. He went into the Air F orce after high school. He was stationed in the United Kingdom and deployed to Vietnam. He left the Air Force after 20 years and chose to work at Gabriel in Chickasha, OK. After working at Gabriel, he retired and returned to Cement, OK until 2025, when he moved to Chickasha, OK.

Roy had two sons, Keith Powell and Wayne Powell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gracie and (Joe) C.E. Powell; his sister, Ellen; his brother, Doyle; and his 9 year old sister.

Loved ones left to remember him are his son, Keith Powell of Chickasha, OK; his son Wayne Powell and his wife Michele of Chickasha, OK; two grandchildren, Kaleb Powell and Tereshia Powell; brother, Delbert Wayne Powell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
