Ronald Dean Douglas

Ronald Dean Douglas, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 86.  He was born November 9, 1931 in Minco, Oklahoma to Sidney and Addie (Harper) Douglas.

He graduated from Minco High School.  He served in the Korean War and was discharged from the United States Army.

Ronald had lived in the Chickasha area over 60 years.  He worked at Howard Sprague Auto Garage and Western Electric in Oklahoma City.  He also worked for Maremont Company when they opened in Chickasha in 1972 and retired in 1994.  Later he worked at Riverbend Golf Course of Chickasha.

Ronald married Merry Reed on September 11, 1992.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Scott Douglas; 4 brothers, 4 sisters and a stepson, Jake Reed.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Merry Douglas;

Children:  Tammy Monroe;
Jeffrey Douglas;
and Linda Long and her husband, Bruce;

Stepson, Larry Reed and his wife, Sarah;

Grandchildren:  Jessica Monroe, Lindsey Riddle, Lesley Rainey, Heath Long,    Ashley Long, Derrick Long, Jennifer Douglas, Shembra Reed, Ruthie Reed,    Luke Reed, Grace Reed, Emily Reed, Cody Reed and Zack Reed;

Great grandchildren:  Presley Riddle, Payton Riddle, Kallan Long,
Kennedy Long and Brandon Mohr.
