Robyn Lee Robinett was born May 29, 1963 in Lynwood, California to Forrest Robinett and Judy (Lombard) Robinett. She passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in Norman, OK at the age of 51. Robyn moved to Oklahoma in 1972. She trained at the Coach House in Nichols Hills as a chef and then traveled the world. She was a sous chef at Deep Fork Grill in Oklahoma City. Robyn was a sous chef for Wolfgang Puck at Postrios in San Francisco, California and also worked at Boulevard Steak House, Beacons Club and opened a restaurant in St. Lucia. She was featured in Smithsonian Magazine. She is preceded in death by her Uncle Richard and grandparents, Virgil and Opal Robinett. Robyn is survived by her father, Forrest Robinett of Norman, OK Her mother, Judy Craycraft of Glencoe, OK A brother, Regan Robinett and his wife, Jennifer and children, Ava and Kaitlyn, of Piedmont, OK A sister, Rocky Kee and her husband, Scot, and daughter, Bailey, of Owasso, OK Numerous other friends across the world and relatives in California.
