Robin Gay Griffin age 66, of Blanchard, Oklahoma passed away peacefully, January 30, 2018 at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Parker and her mother, Ruth Parker.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Gary Griffin;
2 daughters, Turene Ross and her husband, John;
and Stephanie Griffin;
3 granddaughters: Melissa Frey, Hunter Ross, Autumn Ross;
2 grandsons: Micah Ross and Lincoln Ross;
3 great grandchildren: Emily, Ally and Jack;
2 sisters, Randy Green and Caroline Wager;
3 nieces, Beth Sheffield, Kimberly Griffin and Haley Hopper;
Her lifelong friend Teresa Hutton;
and her beloved dogs Blanche and Elvis.
Robin was born in Bakersfield California November 7, 1951. Her family moved to Oklahoma where she grew up on the south side of Oklahoma City. Where her and her lifelong friend Teresa Hutton would collect pop bottles so they could go the movies. She and Teresa attended Capitol Hill high school together. Teresa was by her side till the very end.
Robin was the president of the hotel motel Association. She was a member of American women's business association. Robin volunteered with the Red Cross when the Murrah was bombed earning her a humanitarian award from the Days Inn Corporation.
Robin had a giving nature and loved to do for others.
All who knew her loved her and she will be greatly missed.
