August 2, 1984 — January 10, 2015

Celebration of Life for Robert "Bobby" Andrew Hinton, of Chickasha, OK, will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Laverty Baptist Church.

Robert "Bobby" Andrew Hinton was born August 2, 1984 in Hawaii to Gary and Shelly (Barton) Hinton.  He passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by his family, at the age of 30. In life, Bobby was unfailingly generous to everyone who had the honor of knowing him.  Even in death, Bobby gave.  As an organ donor, Bobby gave others a 2nd chance at life in this world.

Bobby lived in Chickasha all his life. He attended Pioneer School and was a 2003 graduate of Chickasha High School.  He also had been a student at Cameron University and USAO.  Bobby was a professional driver and had worked for Connect Transport for the past 5 years.  He enjoyed reading, writing, drawing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.  He was an avid knife collector.

He was a member of the Laverty Baptist Church where he was baptized at the age of 7.

The family knows that among those welcoming him to Heaven are his "Granny", Geneva Roberts and his great-grandfather, Bob Hinton, Sr.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Shelly Payne;  His father and best friend, Gary Hinton; 2 sisters, Staci Hinton and Kacy Barton; grandparents, Bob and Betty Hinton; grandfather, Truman Andrew Barton: great grandmother, Pauline (Hinton) Miser; Aunt and Uncle, Lance and Susan Parr;  Cousins, Jeremy (Julie) Parr, Kassie (Kyle) Hair, Mandie (Andrew) Mosley; Drew (Emily) Parr and childhood friend, Thomas Finkelstein.  He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bobby made friends everywhere he went; he was fun-loving, honest and caring; He had the biggest heart and to know him was to love him.  He will be greatly missed and hold a special place in our hearts.

The family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this time.  Bobby Hinton loved and was loved by many.  Oh how we will miss him.
