Robert Douglas Hankins

Robert Douglas "Doug" Hankins was born May 10, 1964 in Chickasha, OK to Bob Hankins and Susan (Friedlan) Hankins. He passed from this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his home in Oklahoma City, OK.
Doug graduated from Chickasha High School where he was active in baseball and football. He then attended Crowder Jr. College in Neosho, MO after being awarded a baseball scholarship.
He worked for many years as a machinist at Baity Screw Machine of Chickasha and Kim-Ray International, Oklahoma City.
He enjoyed OU sports and the Oklahoma City Thunder and golf as long as his health permitted.
Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bob and Myrtle Hankins and Alma and John Friedlan; and a brother, Brian Hankins.
He is survived by daughter, Jamie Hankins and Dustin of Muskogee, OK;
daughter, Stephanie Hankins of Chickasha, OK;
son, Kyle Hankins of Chickasha, OK;
parents: Bob and Susan Hankins of Oklahoma City, OK;
1 granddaughter, Isabella Coppin of Muskogee; OK
Long-time partner, Maryann Farrell of Oklahoma City, OK and family;
A nephew and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
