Robert Richard Cox

Robert Richard Cox was born August 24, 1924 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to J.D. "Picody" and Minnie Bethel (Evans) Cox. He passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

Mr. Cox grew up at Rush Springs and graduated from Rush Springs High School. He served in the Army during WWII with the 4th Air Supply Squadron from 1945 to 1947.

He married Margie Gwen Tow on October 9, 1949 in Chickasha. He worked DeHart Air Conditioning for 35 years and then Baitys Screw Machine.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Jonce Cox and Houston Cox.

Mr. Cox is survived by his wife Gwen Cox;
3 children: Pamela Cooper and her husband, Doug;
Robert K. Cox and
Mark Cox and his wife, Tracy

2 grandchildren: Robin L. Cooper and Brian Cooper and his wife, Jenn;
1 great grandchild, Aiden Cooper;
1 sister-in-law, Sally Cox of Cortez, CO;
And many nieces and nephews.
