Rickie Lee Jenkins

Rickie Lee Jenkins, 74, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on April 3, 2026. He was born July 27, 1951 in Lawton OK. Rick was born to Bobbie Harper and Buster Jenkins. 

He graduated from Taloga High School in 1969 and was soon drafted to the army and served as an MP in Okinawa, Japan during the Vietnam war. After service he returned home and worked many different jobs throughout his life and later retired from TransOk, where he made many lifelong friends. He married Rose Ann Voegeli in April 1975 and celebrated almost 51 years of marriage together.

Rick was an outgoing and friendly person and enjoyed many hobbies including hunting and leather work. He cherished spending time with his friends and family but especially his three grandsons.

He is preceded in death by his father Buster Jenkins, mother Bobbie Wheeler, Stepfather Glenna Wheeler, and brother Terry Jenkins.

Rick is survived by his wife Rose Ann Jenkins, daughter Michelle Hatcher, son in law Zach Hatcher, grandsons Stetson, Keeton, Hayson and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery Saturday April 11 2026 at 11 am, with a lunch served at the Holy Name Catholic Church activity center concluding the service.

Rick will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered through many memories and stories passed on by his family and friends.
