Graveside services for Renee Yvonne Hinson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Come and go Visitation for Renee Hinson will be Monday, October 27, 2025 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Sevier Funeral Home.

Renee Yvonne Hinson passed from this life on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at her home in Chickasha, OK. She was born on July 3, 1959 to Frances (Huggins) Atkins in Cordell, OK.

Renee grew up in Sulphur, OK, and later moved to Chickasha to live with her grandparents. It was in Chickasha where she met John Hinson, they married and had two children, Willis Hinson and Merry (Hinson) Perdue.

Renee loved anything to do with plants and was always in the garden or potting plants. She was ornery and had a good since of humor. Her favorite musical artist was Jelly Roll. She was a good mother. She loved life and loved reading books, loved her family and especially her grandkids. She was a member of the Ninnekah Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her, husband, John Hinson; adopted father, Daniel Atkins; sister, Regina Florey.

Renee is survived by her mother, Frances Marie Atkins; her son Willis Hinson and his wife Misty; her daughter, Merry Perdue and her spouse T.J. Perdue; her grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, John, & Lillian Hinson; Payton, Nathan, & Mattie  Perdue; her great-grandson, Marek Dravk; her brothers and sisters, Sabrina Palmer, Brian Burns, Alfred Atkins, David Atkins, and Theresa Wilson; her partner in crime, Aunt Pat Huggins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
