Ray Dean Corley passed from this life at his home in Tuttle, OK, on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the age of 87. He was born on August 19, 1938 in Amber, OK to Alvin Jordan Corley and Clara Faye (Clark) Corley.
Funeral Service for Ray Dean Corley will be held at the First Baptist Church in Tuttle, OK on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Committal will be held at the Amber Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Ray Corley graduated from Tuttle High School in 1956. He married his wife, Voncille (Haskins) Corley on April 1, 1958. He was drafted into the Army and was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado after their marriage.
Ray returned to Tuttle to the family farm that was started in 1945, raising Jersey Cattle and Duroc Hogs. He sold hogs in 1987 and started raising beef cattle.
Ray and Voncille had two sons. The older son, Monty Corley, was born February 28, 1967, and their younger son, Russell “Rusty” Dale Corley was born March 13, 1970.
Ray loved to travel –but only by car. He loved to tinker with things, and he always had a project he was working on. Ray loved going to the coffee shop, which he did twice a day. He adored his grandkids. He was an amazing Pawpaw to his grandkids. Getting to meet his great-grandchildren was another one of his great joys. Family was very important to him.
Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Voncille Corley; his son, Russell Dale Corley, Sr.; and his parents, Alvin and Clara “Faye” Corley.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his son, Monty Corley and wife Misty of Tuttle, OK; his grandchildren from son Monty, Kristin, Greyson, Brooklyn and Marissa; his grandchildren from son Rusty, Russell Dale Corley, Jr., Autumn, and Cecilia; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Corley and wife Janice; niece Charlotte Boyer, and nephew Dwain Corley.
