Paul Chancellor

Paul Chancellor was born August 31, 1932 at Dill City, Oklahoma.  He was the son of Alonzo and Hester (Walker) Chancellor.  Paul died Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Clinton, Oklahoma.

Paul joined the U.S. Army in 1952.  While serving in Korea he received a field promotion to Sargent.  He was at the post of "outpost Harry" at the end of the war.

He married Anita Norene Kays December 31, 1954 in Oklahoma City.  Paul has been a member of the Tuttle Community for over 50 years.  He was a member of the VFW, Booster Club and he had coached little league baseball and softball.

Paul spent a lot of time with his children and grandchildren.  He gave all of his family a touch of smart and very witty humor.  He always said "A laugh a day helps keep the soul happy".  He gave his children and his grandchildren his love of God and Faith, which they still carry with them today.

His parents and 10 brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Norene Chancellor of the home in Tuttle, OK;

Children:  Alma Cochran and her husband, Dave, of Chickasha, OK;

Kenneth Chancellor and his wife, Julie, of Tuttle, OK;

Vicki Roma of Chickasha, OK;

Sonja Chancellor of Tuttle, OK

Two brothers and one sister: J.D. Chancellor, Roger Chancellor and Verna Margret McCleron;

Grandchildren: Joshua Evans, Jeffery Evans, Anita Campbell, Matthew Chancellor, Robin Riley, Cheyenne Lee, Ashly Lee and Shannon Roma and 3 "Bonus" grandchildren

Six Great grandchildren and five "Bonus" Great grandchildren
