Patricia Helen Skitt

Patricia Helen Skitt passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at her home, surrounded by family in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 62. Patricia was born on August 27, 1961 in Chickasha, OK to Charles and Ruth Ann Rempe.

Funeral services will be held for Patricia Helen Skitt on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel. Committal service will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Patricia grew up in Chickasha, OK, and graduated from Chickasha High School. She married Earl Skitt on February 22, 1987, in Marlow, OK. They had four children: Kelly Rempe, Timothy Skitt, Amber Backus, and Samuel Skitt. Patricia worked at Delta Faucet in Chickasha for over twenty years, where she met Earl. After Delta closed, she worked at Walmart for sixteen years. She lived in Chickasha her entire life. Her favorite thing in the world was being a Mema and spending time with her grandbabies. She also loved to garden. She enjoyed watching Mountain Men and Swamp People. A large part of her life was taking care of her son, Sam.

Patricia is preceded in death by her Grandparents: Eldon and Elizabeth Pickrell, Carl J, and Catherine Rempe; Her Aunt and Uncles: Robert Rempe, Carl Rempe, and Helen Rempe; her sister-in-law: Vivian Simon; her brother-in-law: Timothy Skitt; and her grandchild: Peyton Skitt.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Earl Skitt; her children, Kelly Rempe, Timothy Skitt and his wife Cassidy, Amber Backus and her husband Marc, and Samuel Skitt. Her parents: Charles and Ruth Rempe; her grandchildren: Dominic Johnson, Jayden and Canon Alexander, Raylee, and Teagan Skitt, and Charli and Rhyli Backus; her siblings: Mary Ruth Rempe, Joseph Rempe, Christopher Rempe, as well as numerous other family.
