Funeral service for Patricia Geraldine King will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha, OK. Interment in, will be held at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Patricia Geraldine King passed from this life on September 3, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 80. She was born on July 4, 1945 in Duncan, OK to Leslie E. Baty and Beatrice (Grissom) Baty.

Patricia graduated from Chickasha High School in 1963. She played the clarinet in the Chickasha High School Band. Robert K. King and Patricia were high school sweethearts, and they were married 40 years. While Robert was in the Army, she followed him to New Jersey. After his time of service ended, they eventually made it back to Oklahoma City, OK where they both worked for Southwestern Bell. After Patricia retired from Southwestern Bell, she worked for the family business, King Communications. Patricia and Robert received their son, John Richard King, by adoption in 1974.

When Robert passed in 2003, Patricia continued to enjoy her many friends and church life. She loved the lake and was a fantastic Slalom water skier. She was also an incredible bowler. She loved to play cards, and did wonderful cross-stitch work. Patricia enjoyed dancing, including country and western and square dancing.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert King; her parents, Leslie and Beatrice Baty; her brother, Lonnie Baty.

Loved ones left to remember her include her beloved son, John King, as well as many friends and family.
