Orville Clint Mcafee

Orville Clint McAfee was born February 12, 1927 in Coffeeville, KS to Doris (Protzman) and Opie Reed McAfee and died Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 92.

His mother passed away shortly after his birth and he was raised by his grandparents, Robert D. and Olivia M. McAfee in Chickasha, OK.  He worked for his grandfather in the tire business when he was a teenager and upon graduating high school he was drafted and served in the Army Air Corp in World War II. He trained as a mechanic on B-17s.

After returning from the war, he married Joanne Parker in 1948.  He owned and operated R&M Body Shop in Chickasha until his retirement in 1982.  Upon retirement they moved to Lake Texoma and enjoyed lake life for 25 years.  In 2005 they moved to Coweta, OK to be closer to children.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne McAfee in 2007.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Harry of Tulsa, OK;

Son, Michael McAfee and his wife, Sharla, of Broken Arrow, OK;

Grandsons: Steven McAfee of Bentonville, AR and Christopher McAfee and his wife Ashley, of Fate, TX;

He is also survived by great grandchildren: Joanna, Sunny, Leo, Landon and Olive.
