Orian Otis Harris

Orian Otis Harris passed from this life on Monday, July 6, 2026 in Norman, OK at the age of 70. Orian was born on August 29, 1955 in Shawnee, OK to Gilbert Victor Harris and Dixie Marie (Hauch) Flowers.

Graveside service for Orian Otis Harris will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Orian Harris was a hard worker his entire life. He was in the United States Army from 1973 to 1976. His rank was SP4 82nd Airborne. Orian worked as an Auto Body Mechanic for several years. Orian then worked at B & B Construction as the Construction Foreman for 30 years. After that time, he worked at Riverwind Casino, where he was a fabricator welder, as well as, a mentor to many people. He retired from Riverwind Casino. Everywhere he worked he made a positive impact on those around him.

Orian is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Harris; his brother, Ricky Harris; his sister, Enola Like; his stepsister, Nita Flowers.

He is survived by his wife, Belinda Harris of Tuttle, OK; his mother, Dixie Flowers; his stepson, James Henry Wilhite and his wife, Janice, of Canute, OK; his daughter, Michelle Rene Hong and her husband, Lyon, of Chandler, OK; grandchildren: Spencer Wilhite, Corianna Hong, Evannie Hong, Sylvia Hong, Daniel Hong, Johnie Hong, Ezra Hong; sister, Mieva Riedel; step siblings, Cindy Howard, Bobby Flowers, and Johnny Flowers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
