Opal Maurene Jeffries

Mrs. Jeffries married Roy Jeffries on March 29, 1924 in Delhart, Texas.    She was a farmer, dairyman, homemaker, loving mother and grandmother, seamstress and an avid cook.  She was a wonder woman!  She loved to tat, read and crochet.

At the age of 107, she saw covered wagons to space shuttles and from wood burning stoves to microwave ovens.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy; her parents, William and Bessie Mae; siblings: Carvel, Marvlean, Mildred, William and John Raymond; and a daughter, Maurene Langston.

Mrs. Jeffries is survived by her son, Billy Roy Jeffries of Texas;

Daughter, Margie Copeland, of the home;

Grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren – too many to name.
