Ola T. Orf

Ola Tabatha Orf, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at her home south of Tuttle, at the age of 84.  She was born February 27, 1935 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Ernest and Mary (Bomesberger) Branam.

Ola grew up in Anadarko and graduated from Anadarko High School.   She married Bobby Jack Orf on October 11, 1952 in Anadarko.  She and Bobby and the family moved to Tuttle in 1970 from Oklahoma City.  She and Bobby farmed in the Amber area and she had also worked as a cook in the cafeteria at Amber-Pocasset School system.

She was a 50 year member of First Baptist Church of Amber and she also liked to write her own poems.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Jack Orf in 2010; daughter, Paula Tamar Orf in 2016; daughter, Sheila Straehla in 2013; and grandsons, Ryan Straehla and Colby Crothers.

Ola is survived by her children:  Penny Foret and her husband, Gerald; Otto Orf and his wife, Sue; and Sam Orf and his wife, JoAnn;

10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
