Nickey Joe Burris

Nickey Joe Burris, age 60, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away on November 21, 2018 at his home in Tuttle.

Nick was born on June 21, 1958 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Gilman and Kay (Moore) Burris. Nick was born in Chickasha and raised in Tuttle. He attended Tuttle schools graduating in 1976.  Nick learned many trades but had a love for car mechanics.  Nick continued to work as a tradesman throughout his life.  Nick became a certified auto paint and body mechanic and often helped people around town with their cars. He was also a carpenter and mason. When not working, Nick enjoyed spending time with family and friends while being a source of kindness and laughter.

Survivors include his parents: Gilman and Kay Burris;
Sister, Tammy Burris Ellis;
3 sons:  Jeremy Burris, Nathan Locke and Trasi Locke;
1 daughter, Elizabeth Burris Elliott;
Granddaughters:  Faith Burris, Ivy Elliott and Shelby Elliott;
2 grandsons:  Hunter Elliott and Dayvin Locke.
