Owasso

Molena Ben Henderson was born on February 8, 1923, in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Molena went to dance and sing with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on April 13, 2021, at 9:12 am. Though her earthly body is no longer with us, her spirit lives on as a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Molena was the eldest of six children born to Ed and Hattie Lou Farmer. On February 12, 1944, she married the love of her life Norwood E. Henderson, and they were blessed with four God-loving children: Clovis E. Henderson (Lola) of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; Norma L Hogue (Larry) of Bellville, Texas; Gloria Jean Buser (Gary) of Owasso, Oklahoma; and Janet Y. Herrera (Joe) of Arlington, Texas. Molena loved Jesus and was a faithful servant of the Word of God. Her life's purpose was to ensure that everyone she knew loved and followed the Lord. This included her 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She has one living sister, Marie Dobbs, who resides in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, her husband, and one grandson.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle, OK.
