Mary Voegeli

Mary Aloysia Voegeli, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Chickasha at the age of 92.  Mary was born October 19, 1925 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to William and Mary (Bradley) Schafers.

She married Raymond Voegeli on June 3, 1947 and she moved to Chickasha that same year.  She and Raymond farmed north of Chickasha.  She worked as a nurse's aid at Carlsbad, New Mexico and Grady Memorial Hospital for 13 years.

She is a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond in 1977; a daughter-in-law, Terrie Voegeli; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mary is survived by her children:
Ceceilia Nieto and her husband, David;
David Voegeli and his wife, Gwen;
Ben Voegeli and his wife, Delores;
Rose Ann Jenkins and her husband, Rick;
Philip Voegeli and his wife, Tammy;
Joyce Kirksey and her husband, Kenneth;

18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild;

Siblings: Hope Owens, Jeanette and Frank Blasi; Helen Downey, Frances and Marty Klenda; Tony and Tillie Schafers;

Sister-in-law, Madona Schafers.
