A viewing will take place at Sevier Funeral Home in Tuttle, OK on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 4-7 pm. Service will be held at Woodland Hills Baptist Church, Newcastle Ok. Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 10:00 am. Graveside services will take place at Fairview Cemetery Tuttle, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Mary Louise Dick was born on January 26, 1938, in Nowata, OK. She was the daughter of Hugh B. Parsons and Juanita J. Keithley. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the age of 84 years.

Mary married the love of her life, Donald H. Dick, on May 10, 1955, in Nowata, OK.  The couple moved to Yukon and then Tuttle where she lived for 45 years.

Mary was a homemaker until her children were middle school age and then was employed by Altec Lansing and then Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent for 21 years.

She retired in 2001 much to the delight of her grandchildren who got to spend an abundance of time with her.

Mary enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens and was often in the kitchen canning and cooking.  She also enjoyed crocheting but more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mary was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church and the Yukon Eastern Star, Lodge # 90.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald H. Dick, Sr; her parents, Hugh & Juanita Parsons; her brother, Sonny Parsons;  and her sister, Roberta Hughes.

She is survived by her children: Donna Byrd (Richard) of Tuttle; Donald Dick, Jr. (Lucy) of Tuttle; Her siblings, Mabel Root of Edmond, OK; Judy Lemmons of Hesperia, CA; Brother Bill Parsons of Fontana, CA; Her Grandchildren, Branson Byrd (Whitney); Donald Dick III (Jenny); Brittany Allred (Kaleb); Braeden Byrd and Braxton Byrd; as well as her Great grandchildren, Bexley Byrd, Nolan Allred, Hadleigh Dick, Boston Byrd, and Wrenley Dick. Step grandchildren, Chella Alarid and Amber Barrett; Step great-grandchildren, Raechel Alarid and Nevaeh Barrett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and family.
