Mary A. Brown

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Ninnekah, Cemetery, Ninnekah, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Mary Annis Brown, 89, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Chickasha.  She was born December 22, 1930 in Perkins, Oklahoma to Earnest and Agusta Mae (Riddenhour) Drumright.

Mary married Murphy Wayne Brown on February 3, 1952.  She taught elementary school in California for many years and she and her husband moved to Chickasha about 30 years ago.

She attended the First Baptist Church in Chickasha when Kevin Clarkson and Johnny Tims were her pastors and later she attended Bible Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Murphy Wayne Brown on November 23, 1996.

Mary is survived by her son, Jeff Brown and his wife, Dorlisa;

And her daughter, Debra Ellen Brown;

And a sister, Mona Drumright.
