Marvin Jess Jessen was born May 31, 1938 in Santa Maria, California to Clifford and Margaret (Gerber) Jessen. He passed from this life on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Boise, Idaho at the age of 83.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Rush Springs Cemetery. Pastor Emeritus Kim Hayes officiating. Services under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Marvin grew up in Tempe, Arizona. He spent his advanced teenage years as a life guard at the beaches in Southern California. After serving in the U.S. Army at Ft. Sill, Marvin started the Rush Springs Mfg. Co. in 1962 where he put his welding and sheet metal skills to work. He built the Gypsy Top Camper Shell and various truck and camper accessories. He went on to own and operate several businesses to include: owning and operating Shellbourne Ranch located in Whitepine County, Nevada that consisted of 40,000 owned and allotted acres. He was an authorized dealer of Minelab Metal Detection, an avid hunter, and member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association.

Marvin was preceded in death by parents and his wife, Georgette.

He is survived by his four children from his first wife, Mary as follows: son, Lawrence Jessen and wife Dustene of Comanche, OK, son, Eric Jessen of Chickasha, OK, daughter, Kristine Charlson and husband Tony of Ninnekah, OK, daughter, Holly Wilson and husband Troy of Chickasha, OK; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and beloved dog, Jesse.
