Martin Resendez

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Chickasha, OK. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Martin Rocha Resendez, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Chickasha, OK at the age of 78. He was born July 25, 1943.

Martin served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1971. He then worked as an International Surveyor for Schlumberger Inc. where he retired from after 36 years. Afterwards becoming a consultant. The last 4 years he was working with his son at Diversified Landscape of Chickasha.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Geronimo Resendez and Olivia Rocha Resendez; brother, Rafael Resendez.

Martin is survived by his children, Jamie Resendez, Cristina Danforth, Martin Resendez; brothers, Paul, Frank, Felipe, Valente, Geronimo Jr., and Narciso Resendez; sisters, Martina Resendez, Rosa M Cantu, and Juanita Serrato. As well as 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
