Marjorie Ann Hester

Marjorie Ann (Knauer) Witte Hester was born in Sydney, Ohio on March 25, 1919 to Harry and Blanche Knauer. She passed from this life on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Chickasha. The family moved to Oklahoma City where Marjorie graduated from Central High School. She worked as a secretary and was a record setting typist. She married Melvin Witte on August 15, 1941 and they were married 52 years. She was active as a homeroom mother, den mother, and church youth group sponsor. She married Charles Hester July 2, 1996. She is preceded in death by her two husbands; two brothers, Harold and Richard Knauer; and a grandson, John Witte. Marjorie is survived by her only son, Richard Witte and his wife, Joyce, of Chickasha, OK; 3 grandchildren: Robert Witte and his wife, Debbie, of Plano, TX; David Witte and his wife, Carrie, of Edmond, OK; Brooke McHugh and her husband, Cody, of Verden, OK; and 5 great grandchildren
