Mac Kendall

December 1, 1940 — June 14, 2017

Jerald M Kendall , better known as Mac to those who knew him, left this world for his final destination on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Mac was born in Chickasha, OK, December 1, 1940 to Jewel McKelvey Kendall and Coye Godfrey Kendall.

Mac grew up in Chickasha, graduating from Chickasha High School in 1959. He then attended Central State College in Edmond, OK.  He met Mary Sue Ackenhausen in September 1964 and they were married in Oklahoma City in February 1965.  Mac and Sue were blessed with two sons, Sean Wade and Kevin Ray.

Mac went to work for DEMCO (Drilling Equipment Manufacturing Company) starting on the burr table in the machine shop in 1964.  After much persistence, he landed the job of salesman, a career he was born to have.  Mac covered territories in Louisiana, Texas and Canada for DEMCO before returning to Oklahoma in 1980.   While DEMCO wanted to move Mac into management, he declined preferring to stay in sales. He went to work for Don William Sales and in 1982 started his own company Flow Line Products, where he devised prepackaged natural gas measurement products. Bovaird Supply purchased his company in 1992 where he continued as salesman until the lure of being at the helm of his own company brought him to create M-Co Ltd, a manufacturing facility that provided pre-packaged natural gas processing equipment.  In 2009 M-Co was purchased in part by Allied Technology later to become Forum Energy Technologies.  Later, Mac divested himself of his part of the company but continued as Sales Manager over the Fayetteville Shale were he continued until his retirement in December of 2016. Mac was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law Don and Janelle Kendall. He is survived by his wife Sue, sons Sean Wade Kendall and Kevin Ray Kendall, grandchildren, Alexandra Kendall, Richard Kendall, Andrew Kendall, Cody Kendall, and great granddaughter Bailey Kendall.

Nephews, Donald Ackenhausen, Matthew Achenhausen, Jeff Kendall and wife, Catherine and great nephew David Kendall.
