Lou Mcneff

On Thursday, July 30, 2020, Lou (Jones) McNeff, loving wife and mother of five children, passed away at age 80 in her home in Chickasha. Lou was born on October 26, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She married George Emerson McNeff on August 13, 1956. They have resided on farms and dairies in Grady County since their marriage.

Lou enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to go shopping with her granddaughters and watching them play sports. Mostly, she loved taking care of George. She took some memorable girls' trips with her friends. She was an animal lover and fed every stray that wandered up. She was an excellent cook and spent time scrapbooking. She even made the occasional trip to the casino.

Mrs. McNeff was preceded in death by her father Andy Walker Jones and her mother Lydia Elizabeth (Godsell) Jones.

She is survived by her husband George McNeff of the home; son David McNeff of Chickasha, Oklahoma; son Dennis McNeff of Chickasha. Oklahoma; son Donnie McNeff and wife Traci of Chickasha, Oklahoma; daughter Debbie and husband John Gorton of Newcastle, Oklahoma; and daughter Dayla and husband Todd Morris of Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Grandchildren Karrie McNeff, Derek McNeff, Josh McNeff, Kasie and husband Luke Kuhlman, Meagan and husband Patrick Tharpe; Henry Gorton and wife Katie; Ellen and husband Alec Roberts; Kaitlyn McNeff; Hannah Morris, Grace Morris and Avery Morris and 7 great-grandchildren.

She also is survived by her brother J.T. and his wife Donna of Yukon and her sister Eva and husband Buck Jetton of Pawhuska, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home Tuttle, Oklahoma.
