Loretta Jackson

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha, OK.  Interment will be at the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Loretta Jackson, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at her home in Chickasha, OK.  She was born on July 2, 1935 in Dunlap, TN to Owen and Ova Austin.

Loretta was born in Tennessee then moved to Verden, OK where she went to Verden High School.  She then moved to California in 1965.  She married Travis "Glen" Jackson on December 31, 1956 .  She moved back to Oklahoma in 1976 and lived her life around family and friends.  She was a kind and caring person who always had a good spirit.  She traveled almost every year to Florida and also went on a tropical cruise when she was 83 years young.  She was close to her sister Susie and did everything with her.

Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, Travis "Glen" Jackson; her parents, Owen and Ova Austin; a sister, two brothers, and one great grand-child.                         .

Loretta is survived by son Randy Jackson and daughter-in-law, Belinda of Verden, OK; her daughter Pamela Jackson of Chickasha, OK; her daughter Beverly Sicheri and son-in-law Jeff of Seffner, FL; her son Steven Jackson and daughter-in-law Rachel of Newport, AR; her sister, Sue Hensley of Chickasha, OK; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
